West Indies’ Carlos Brathwaite scored an incredible four sixes in a row in the last over to win the T20 World Cup final.

England’s Ben Stokes was left in tears, after being the victim of the four big hits that saw England lose in dramatic fashion.

After scoring a mediocre 155 in their innings, England responded well in the field with some quick wickets.

Joe Root, who scored 68 with the bat, was a surprise choice to open the bowling but took two wickets in his first over, including the wicket of Chris Gayle.

Despite this, West Indies who went into the game with a 100% record against England, were still favourites until the very last few overs when England edged past.

Thanks to some great bowling from David Willey, the Indies went into the final over needed 19 runs.

Stokes, who had produced some brilliant ‘at the death bowling’ all tournament, was chosen as the bowler to deliver the final six balls.

What happened next, was truly incredible.

Carlos Brathwaite, who took three wickets with the ball, launched four successive balls into the crowd to win the game for his team.
