It differs on an individual basis but each wrestler gets a base salary which is topped with contract bonuses including merchandise sales and gate receipts.
On average, a WWE worker will receiver $500,000 a year and will then receive bonuses.
For example, John Cena in 2015 reportedly made over $10 million from WWE pay.
The company is very sensitive when it comes to personal business and believes in the importance of keeping it’s superstars’ lives separate.
It is a testament to the company that they have stuck to this policy right from the start.
