13. The Brothers Of Destruction (Kane & The Undertaker)

brothers of destruction

Mainly singles wrestlers but they have had a memorable run as a tag team to holding tag team gold  three times (2X WWE, 1x WCW) but that doesn’t mean they haven’t been a dominant force in the tag team division.

In 2001 at Backlash they had a memorable match with Austin and Triple H where all the gold were on the line  with Austin and Triple H holding the Intercontinental tile and WWF title respectively and Kane and Taker holding the tag titles the match resulted in Austin and Triple H being crowned the new tag team champions.

Since 2002 they have been an on and off tag team but still made appearances together most notably in 2015 where they team up once again to feud with The Wyatt Family they settled the feud at Survivor Series of that year which also marked Undertaker’s 25th year in the WWE, The Brother Of Destruction emerged victorious.

12. The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray & D-Von)

Dudley Boyz

One of the most decorated tag team of all time. Holding the gold a whopping 23 times ranging from NJPW to WWE. being 1/3 of the teams that made the TLC match famous with their rivalries with Edge & Christian and The Hardy Boyz.

They use to wear tie dye ring attire to their matches  but later on this was dropped as was most of their gimmick that they used in ECW such as Bubba Ray stuttering and D-Von having to help him get his words out. Now donning camouflage  ring attire as a way of leaving ECW behind.

After leaving the WWE in 2005 for TNA (2005-2008) where they still dominated as a tag team but Bubba Ray having the better singles career they returned to the WWE in 2015. With Bubba Ray being a surprise entrant in the 2015 Royal Rumble match to a standing ovation from the crowd. Since their return they have been involved in feuds with New Day for the tag titles, The Usos and most recently Enzo & Cass.
