THE iconic shirt of the European Championships.
1988’s Holland are probably the best side to win the Euros. Spearheaded by the AC Milan trio, Ruud Gullit, Marco van Basten and Frank Rijkaard, the Dutch wowed crowds with their updated brand of total football.
And they looked damn good doing it too. This shirt has become the holy grail for football fans, selling second hand online for more than $400.
In the early 1990s, Sweden were a force to be reckoned with. They reached the semi-finals of World Cup 1994, and Euro 1992, which they also hosted.
During that tournament, they famously knocked out England. Spearheaded by Thomas Brolin and Martin Dahlin, they beat the second favorites 2-1. Their iconic Adidas design went on to be adopted by a number of other countries and clubs.
