Conor Washington – Northern Ireland

Conor Washington

At the time of the last European Championships, Conor Washington was working as a postman, and playing part time for St Ives Town, a team in England’s ninth tier! Fast forward four years, and he’s a multi-million pound player heading to Euro 2016 with Northern Ireland.

Washington has performed well in the build up to the tournament, netting in friendlies against Slovenia and Belarus.

Dele Alli – England

Dele Alli

At just 20 years old, Alli has become central to both his club and country’s starting XI. The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder fired his club to 3rd place in the Premier League last season, becoming an England regular in the process.

England will be looking for Alli to replicate his understanding with club mates Eric Dier and Harry Kane in France. If he does so, England may go far.
