Dan Dickau: a cut above the rest

Dickau was an All American point guard who played for six different NBA teams, as well as one overseas. He was known for his good looks and hair styles on the court, so it might not come as a total shock that he left the game to open his own barber shop, aptly named ‘Barbers’. He decorated it with sports posters, pennants and other memorabilia to celebrate his incredible career.

Tom Chambers: swapped dribbling for horsing around

Surprisingly, Chambers is one of few Basketball Hall of Famers (elected and still waiting to be inducted) to use his court knowledge as a sports broadcaster. He’s slowly earning his retirement fund by presenting shows for Phoenix Suns on Fox Sports in Arizona. When he’s not on TV, this legend is working hard on his Shooting Star Ranch in Utah where he breeds and trains horses. The pro athlete that accounted for over 20,000 points considers it an enjoyable hobby.
