MVP had the potential to be a top tier wrestler.

Moving to RAW and the, back to Smackdown in ’07, MVP was given the losing streak angle.

Lashley and Lesnar had left in the past without giving notice, so WWE wanted to test MVP’s loyalty to the company.

He left in 2010 and headed for the Orient.

14. Rey Mysterio


Rey Mysterio was one of WWE’s biggest Cruiserweight wrestlers and the definition of an underdog.

But after years with the company Rey begun to be plagued with various injuries that had him inactive for a while.

He went to nurse his wrist injury after wrestling Bad New Barrett in 2014, during his time away, the WWE had supposedly given Rey a contract extension without informing him first, he wanted out and returned to Mexico following his release in 2015.
