7. Larry Cameron – Heart Attack
Former professional American footballer, Larry Cameron turned to professional wrestling when his career was cut short from injuries.
The six foot, 225 pounds giant was intimidating and was loved by the African American community.
While wrestling in Germany in 1993 he suffered a fatal heart attack and was pronounced dead in the ring.
6. Owen Hart – Technical Failure
The controversial death of Owen Hart, 33, caused stricter health and safety measures to be implemented in professional wrestling.
During a pay-per-view event called Over the Edge in 1999, Hart fell 78 feet to the ground and died from internal bleeding in his chest.
It is thought that Hart accidentally triggered the release on his suspended harness.
