Former Ferrari boss, Luca di Montezemolo, has told reporters that F1 great Michael Schumacher’s health doesn’t look ‘good’.
The Italian who worked with Michael for ten years at Ferrari told reporters on Thursday of his visit to see Michael in hospital, he said:
“I have news and unfortunately it is not good.”
Montezemolo refused to elaborate with any more details at this time.
He only added: “Life is strange. He was a fantastic driver and only had one accident with Ferrari in 1999.”
Schumacher, seven time F1 world champion, suffered multiple head injuries after a skiing accident in December 2013.
He received intensive treatment including a medically induced coma which lasted six months.
In September 2014, Schumacher was relocated to his home where he has continued to receive medical treatment and rehabilitation privately.
But with the recent news from Montezemolo, F1 fans will begin to worry about their champion.
Schumacher’s manager, Sabine Kehm has declined to comment on Montezemolo’s statement.
