Football governing body together with Adidas have unveiled the official Euro 2016, ahead of the tournament this summer.

The ball which is aptly called Beau Jeu, meaning ‘Beautiful Game’ in English will be used throughout the competition due to start on June 10.

The tournament will include 24 teams for the very first time with England, Wales, Rep of Ireland and Northern Ireland all heading to France to participate.


Inspired by the French national colours, the ball combines the main color white with different shades of blue and red.

The ball features the numbers 2, 0, 1 and 6, and a unique design that incorporates several special elements of the visual identity of the tournament.

It has a six panel design and is made for true flight, accuracy and control.

European winner and French legend Zinedine Zidane said: “I am proud to unveil ‘Beau Jeu’, the official match for Euro 2016 from adidas football.”
